These Four Walls touring with The Butterfly Effect
These Four Walls will be supporting Australian rock legends The Butterfly Effect and Kiwi ex-pats Jakob on their three-date tour of New Zealand in August. The dates are 26 August at the King’s Arms in Auckland, 27 August at Flow in Hamilton and 28 August at Bar Bodega in Wellington.
Pre-sale tickets are a very reasonable $15 and we’d recommend you DO buy in advance as these shows are very likely to sell out. Tickets can be purchased through http://www.moshtix.co.nz
One of Australia’s undisputed heavyweight touring acts, The Butterfly Effect are very excited to announce their debut New Zealand shows to align with the release of their latest album FINAL CONVERSATION OF KINGS.
Heading to the country straight off the back of a 24-date Australian tour, the Brisbane four-piece are certainly no strangers to heavy duty performances, …wowing audiences both internationally and at home with their progr…essive, melodic rock sound. Having spent a large part of their musical careers on the road, The Butterfly Effect have constantly pushed themselves, working hard to become one of the most jaw-dropping live bands in Australia.
With three ARIA Gold selling albums under their belt and over 200,000 catalogue sales in Australia, The Butterfly Effect’s third and most recent studio album ‘Final Conversation Of Kings’ will be released in New Zealand through Sony Music on Friday 20th August. ‘Final Conversation Of Kings’ has garnered four and five star reviews throughout Australia, and the first single ‘Window & The Watcher’ is at all media outlets now!

January Shows – Waihi & Kerikeri
It’s still summer and These Four Walls are heading out on the road to play some of our favourite summer spots. First, we’re hitting up Steve’s home town of Waihi on January 23 at the mighty Sterling Tavern with good friends Sonic Altar for a night of debauched Rock n’ Roll.

Merry Christmas
2009 has been an exceptionally big year for These Four Walls. We spent the first six months locked away in the studio working on what would become Down Falls An Empire, and the next three months preparing to release it…
Having such an awesome release party and hearing all the great feedback from people who have the album has been a real positive for us, and playing shows with Nickelback and Karnivool have definitely been huge highlights We just want to thank everybody for their support throughout the year and wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
It’s not over yet though, there’s still one big show to cap the year off – The Detonate Festival in Taranaki on New Years Eve. If you haven’t made plans yet, this is a great opportunity to see some of the best rock bands in NZ performing together and to watch some shit get blown up too. Check out the details here.
Have a happy holiday season!
These Four Walls
